about dry vapour steam cleaning
WHAT IS DRY VAPOUR STEAM?Water is heated to produce superheated steam. Steam temperatures are in excess of 160’C. ‘Dry Steam’ means that only 5% of the steam is water. 95% is vapour. This means that items are not left wet after they have been cleaned.
BENEFITS OF STEAM CLEANING OVER TRADITIONAL CLEANING METHODSTraditional cleaning, even with the use of disinfectant, will remove most of the dirt but some dirt will remain in the pores of the surfaces. Residual traces of cleaning chemicals will also be left on surfaces. A cleaned surface reflects light and will look sparkling clean – however, it is only a visual impression of cleanliness.
Steam at high temperature and pressure reaches deep down into the surface, even into the deepest pores, removing all dirt and bacteria. New germs cannot find a proper ground to grow. As steam only uses water, any residual traces are 100% biodegradable.
